These are live WRPS Cameras showing river levels at intervals at key river locations. We have installed these as the EA monitoring has been unreliable, inaccessible or not actually connected to their network.

mAOD means metres above ordnance datum - a reference level - usually to mean sea level

Data from the DEFRA Hydrology Data Explorer

Groundwater Levels at Cherry Tree (Cedar Tree) Stud have been/are used by the EA as a trigger level for starting/stopping river augmentation and are now available LIVE on the link.

Flow at the downstream site Lode can also be viewed live on the link right. Note that this site receives all year round flow from the Teversham Waste Water Works via the Black Ditch. This joins the river system downstream of Quy Mill (Hotel). It usually records active flow even if the whole of the upstream Wilbraham River has dried out.  The measurements here are used to fulfil the requirements of the Water Framework Directive.
