Whilst we understand the current government has ruled out taking water companies back into public ownership there is clearly strong public support for this issue. You may wish to consider signing this new parliamentary petition -

This petition has been started by the key individuals (and their actors) portrayed in the recent Channel 4 series DIRTY BUSINESS that tells the sad story of the decline of the Windrush River and their attempts to reverse this.

Even though our problem in the Wilbraham River is primarily lack of water, owing to local over-abstraction, the series is well worth watching.

It explains much about the state of our current water environment, the water companies and their regulators. Their experiences certainly mirror some of ours over the last couple of decades!.
