5 ways to make a difference to your river

Updated: Jul 10, 2021

  1. Use less water and if we all do less will be extracted from the aquifers and there will be more for the river.

  2. Don't pour chemicals or other harmful substances down the storm water drains - it may end up in your river.

  3. Work with local farmers to decrease agricultural runoff.

  4. Support the Wilbraham River protection Society - it's in the name " protection".

  5. Enjoy the biodiversity the river brings to your area and your enjoyment will help maintain this rare resource for future generations.
